Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with watches lately, and I gotta tell you about this one project I did. It’s a High imitation Rolex GMT-Master II, the one with the “Root Beer” bezel. I thought it was a cool way to get the look without, you know, spending a fortune.

First off, I started digging around for info. Found out the original Root Beer came out way back in ’89, and they brought it back in 2018. The new one is called ref. 126711CHNR. Fancy, right? Anyway, I’m not dealing with real Rolexes here, so I looked at some other brands that make similar-looking watches.

I saw some names like Stuhrling and Mathey-Tissot, they are making some similar watches, but I want something closer. Then I found this one brand, let’s call it “Brand X” for now, they make really good knock-offs. They had a GMT-Master II that looked just like the Root Beer one.

So, I ordered one. When it arrived, I was pretty stoked. It looked amazing, all shiny and with that two-tone brown and black bezel. I even made sure to get one with a 2023 card to make it look more legit. I carefully inspected it. The bezel was perfect, no scratches. The crystal, too.

Now, the fun part. I started messing with it. Changed the time, played with the GMT hand, you know, just pretending I was a fancy world traveler. The hands moved smoothly, and that little “cyclops” thing over the date was pretty clear.

I wore it around for a few days, just to see how it felt. It’s got a nice weight to it, feels solid. The bracelet is comfortable, and it didn’t pinch or anything. And I gotta say, it looked pretty darn good on my wrist.

Of course, it’s not a real Rolex. But for what it is, it’s a pretty good High imitation. It’s got the look, the feel, and it doesn’t break the bank. Plus, it was a fun little project to see how close I could get to the real thing.

I even tried to make it look a little worn, you know, like it had some history. Added a tiny scratch here and there, just to give it some character. I think it turned out pretty well. It’s like my little secret, a High imitation Root Beer that looks like it’s been around the world.

So yeah, that’s my story about this High imitation Rolex GMT-Master II Root Beer. It was a fun experiment, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I’m gonna keep wearing it, and who knows, maybe I’ll even fool a few people along the way.
